Two nights ago I awoke from a strange dream that looked like it had somewhat of a meaning to it but I can't really find out what its trying to say. What I can remember is simply venturing through the woods in a late afternoon, suddenly accompanied by fox. It behaved like a loving pet but later it changed it's entire appearance into a shadowy dark black wolf which then started attacking me. The weird thing was it seem like it attacking fierce fully but I could hear myself talking back to it as if it were a small stubborn dog. Play fighting would be the most accurate. Then right before I slowly woke up, the black wolf turned back into the fox it was before and ran away.

If anyone can help in figuring out the interpretation of this dream, it would be most appreciated.
