White candles are a very important color candle due to its properties and uses. A white candle represents the fifth element (depending on belief) called 'Akasha' otherwise known as Spirit. A white candle is usually placed on the altar to represent Spirit. The properties of a white candle are: purity, spirituality and greater attainments in life, truth sincerity power of a higher nature, and wholeness. A white candle can also be used to represent a color candle you do not have. It is like your 'wild card'.
