The Vulture is one of my totems. It is a bird of prey and feeds on Carrion. As a totem it represents death, rebirth, and purification. Vultures are often noticed for their action rather than their appearance. Vultures are known as "All Seeing". Like in the story Tell Tale Heart by Edgar Allan Poe, the narrator quotes the man's eye as an all seeing vulture eye . Vultures know how to use their energy sparingly and efficiently.
