Does anyone here think that a specific person in history was a wizard, or that an event in history involved magick? Just putting the question out there. Here's my response:

People: Nicholas Flamel (rumored to be an alchemist, grave found empty, suspected of discovering immortality), John Dee (the almost literal 007 of his time, servant to Queen Elizabeth I, chose the date of her coronation, his occult artifacts are on display at a museum in Britain with instructions on their use).

Events: WWII (why wouldn't it? Hitler collected artifacts believing them to grant supernatural powers.), the Cold War (the CIA has parapsychology divisions as just one example).
