I had spend an extended amount of time practicing and researching astral projection. I was able to reach sleep paralysis once but beforehand I had used indirect methods of exiting my body such as becoming lucid while dreaming. But recently after take a brake from my practice I have found that I am unable to return to such a deep sate of hypnogogia. I feel the sensations creeping up my body but then the process just seems to halt and doesn't go any further than that. Vie tried meditating before laying down but nothing seems to work. I don't know if vie lost the ability to do this because of my recent research into demonology and demonic evocation(which in not going that far into). Does anyone have any advice that may help.
