At the moment I am still relatively new to magic, and I am looking to get better. While I have several books, and the spells and articles on this site, I still feel that a true education needs some one-to-one tuition. It is with this in mind that I ask for a teacher: not to teach me everything about magic, but also not just the basics (which are easily found both in my books and online). I will point out that I do not want to be taught a particular religious path: I have a faith to with I have dedicated myself, and I have no wish to change it. That said, I want to be taught as wide a range of magic as possible, not limiting myself to the Judeo-Christian tradition. I just ask that any prospective teacher accept that I will not begin to worship a different deity. (I believe that various entities beside God exist, I just have no wish to worship them).
In short, anyone who can teach me a wide range of moderate to advanced magic spanning a few traditions and practices would be good. I have a special interest in "practical magic", which is my best way of a saying that I am not interested in wishy-washy spells which have effects that could easily be coincidence. I'm not asking for fireworks and explosions, just stuff that works well and effectively.
I hope that someone will be able to help. Thank you for reading this, if nothing else.
