Casting Instructions for 'Simple Spell-Weakener'

You will need the following items for this spell:

  • A candle (red or green)
  • A knife

1: Light the candle and use it to make a circle of wax.

2: Place the candle in the center of the circle.

3: Carve the name of the person who has placed an enchantment upon you into the side of the candle and again light it. As the candle burns away to nothing, so will the spell that has been used against you.

NOTE: This spell works by actually draining away the magical power of a target. It will weaken their magic in general and not just the spell you are attempting to remove. Take caution; this spell may be a useful tool but it is a crude one.

This is rather simplistic and does not address the reason for the spell. If you have been cursed, you could try a return to sender. But, I would cleanse and protect yourself and your home as well as shield yourself from that specific person. As outlined, this does nothing. You did not set your intention or charge Magikal energy and as for the ingredients? Wax and a candle with a name in it is a first step, not an entire spell.
