Kraken dream

On November 30th, 2022, I have a dream about the Kraken.

I remember opening a door and seeing a beach. There are about a dozen people at the beach; my childhood friend and my aunt are the only ones I recognize. Kraken suddenly appeared from the sea and grabbed my friend first. In the dream, I stand far away from the Kraken's reach. Me and everyone at the beach try to throw stuff at it to release my friend, but to no avail; it swallows her. Then it went rampaging, using its tentacles to grab everyone at the beach. The beast grabbed and swallowed my aunt and other people too. I feel devastated, but I cannot do anything. And I wake up. The Kraken looks similar to the one in Pirates of the Caribbean.

I was reading the news today when I came across an article about a new Covid variant called Kraken. Especially that virus, which was discovered in 2022 and quickly became the dominant strain in the United States in December 2022. On November 30th, when I had that dream, I felt strange having a dream about Kraken because I'm not into these creatures at all. But today I read the news and saw the name Kraken pop up, so I guess I may have had a prophetic dream.
