Candle Help!

Hey. Lately I have been in to Jar Magicka and have an important question. Do I really need a tapered candle for a jar spell? I have none at the moment but I do have a small fat white candle with a domed top that hasn't been used yet. Can I use that instead? Thank you for reading/helping! Blessed Be and Merry Yule! )O(

As long as the candle fits on the jar, and safety is observed I see no issue. You may want to make sure you have something to catch any running wax.

As long as you are burning it safely and it fits properly on the cover I don't see an issue.

I too am recently really into jar spells and hoodoo magic, from experience your candle sounds perfect. I was once taught that if you have no coloured candle then always use white. I have done this several times and always had results as it doesnt matter what colour your candle is really, it's about the emotion and drama you put into your magickal work. Also, if some of the wax drips onto your jar, that is considered a very fortunate sign, although, jars with glass lids are usually recommended rather than plastic. Hope this helps xx
