Energy Vampirism

Being a energy vampire can be toxic for some and for some it's good . Well my main topic is what actually is energy vampirism . Energy Vampires aren't the one who suck life energy or something that can cause sudden death but if it's done for long yeah it can but the thing is not all energy vampires feed on life energy or energy some feed on emotions and some feed on nature energy more like energy formed by plants and trees and I am pretty most people won't know easily but energy vampires can also feed on plants and trees as a source of energy which neither harms others and taking energy from plants sometimes is beneficial .

The second thing is not every person here is legit about being a vampire or other supernatural or what they call some say I can create and destroy I can teleport to your house Which ofcourse is not possible physically . So all they are saying is a made story of them or their imagination and which begginers believe easily than legit pracitces . This creates toxicity more .
The third thing if you really think Vampires are like movies in real life than you are at wrong place and your ideology about vampires is not not true and if you are really excited and want to be a Vampire do some research and deep research because vampires don't burn in sunlight except the ones who have genetic disorder which is smiliar too Hollywood movies but they aren't vampires technically . After you have enough knowledge or you have the power to understand what vampires are and still want to be one learn energy vampirism not spells which make you lose your mind or based on movies that's all and good morning wake up from your dreams

It is a tricky task to define what a thing is- and isn't, when it comes to the spiritually oriented. Information can be overlapped with other things, terminology can be confused or mis-interpreted. And of course experiences are always a little unique to each individual.

I swear splitting hairs on semantics is a sport, especially when those involved don't actually understand where the terms come from or their actual linguistic meaning. Or if it even matters. Though, to be fair, arguing semantics has been a core of philosophy since its creation.

For example (and a brief aside) Roman philosophers were once arguing the definition of the form of a man. One philosopher confidently stated man was an animal with bare skin that walked on two legs. In retort, another philosopher showed up the next day holding up a plucked chicken and exclaiming "Behold! A man!".

The point is that finding a definition for a thing, that is unique to that thing, and does not also define other things, is very hard.

For example, finding the distinction between channeling energy, an act of energic feeding, and an act of energy vampirism. On the surface, all three are virtually identical as they are all energy-working acts involving a willful effort to connect with a desired energy and draw it towards one's self. The differences lie in where the energy is coming from, and what is done with it.

Energy channeling is a common practice that involves the movement of energy from any particular source. Be it external or drawn up from an internal one. Typically to a purpose of being re-directed towards a specific task or idea. If you want to get literal on definitions, a channel is a construction or object that limits and directs the flow of a thing. For example a trench, culvert, or pipe to channel water, or wiring to channel electricity.

Connecting to, and drawing-in energy from natural places/sources like plants, crystals, places of power like waterfalls, etcetera are all normal acts of channeling and is very common in practices of grounding, centering, cleansing, and empowerment.

This is, however, not generally considered a vampiric act. Point of fact, people who consider themselves to be vampiric cite a specific difficulty in connecting with these sorts of energy. Or any external source for that matter. It is actually one popular (metaphysical/spiritual) theory as to why a person is vampiric to begin with. An inability to replenish or maintain a healthy energetic state. The nearest parallel I can use is that it would be the equivalent of having a body that has difficulty in maintaining homeostasis. Once something gets out of balance, it is difficult to bring it back without accessing something external to intervene.

What makes an act of channeling specifically vampiric is when it is applied towards another person or other active, living animal or spiritual being. It is once again defined within the root word 'vampire'. The word has a specific definition and use that applies to a living being relying on the blood of another living being for sustenance. Though most often in reference to feeding on humans (see the vampire bat, named for this specific reason).

This definition still holds as viable for energy-based vampirism, as it still has a direct boundary/limitation of feeding and gaining a sense of being sustained from the energies of other people. In the end, the -ability- to do this does not a vampire make; As anyone can learn how. It is the -necessity- of the act that defines vampirism. The inability (or at least difficulty) in accessing/visualizing energy and requiring the help of an intermediary to maintainin a sense of personal wellbeing that makes it a thing.

Spirit, I love your post. It makes a lot of sense. Infinio, I think you should reread what you write before you post it. Especially, your grammar, it was hard to follow your sentences and as Spirt so perfectly stated. Things that originate within the spiritual realm tend to be very difficult to strictly put into a single classification. Take the Fae for example, the Fae are generally considered to be spirits that some books I've read say that they may be "forgotten deities" I've even heard that they may even be "souls that were too bad for hell and ineligible for a seat in heaven" of course while I'm not Christian, I like learning about everything that I can find sources on. So the thing is, I feel like a lot of things tend to be more of a description than an actual Classifier. Like how there are people who think that because Fae comes from the UK that the Fae must only live in that area. But in reality , spirits aren't bound to a particular place, they can just go where ever. But due to the exact word used some people may think otherwise. But the Fae are a type of a spirit, and spirit is a catch all term. Kind of like how Demon was actually Daemon which meant the same thing as spirit. It held no negative or positive connotations, obviously due to the church the word Daemon became Demon and then we have Demon = evil spirit.

Energy is all around us, as we live in a matrix of all different types of energy. Some energy is free while other energy is not. There is a lot of kinetic energy, potential energy, chemical energy, thermal energy, ionization energy, mechanical energy, electromagnetic energy and of course nuclear energy available in the universe, The human body has several of these energies going on all at once and this is part of what makes up the aura. The aura, since is contains so much energy from different aspects, is unique to an individual and often interacts with other energy fields of other beings which includes humans, animals, plants, minerals, spirits, and the universe at large.

An energy vampire depicts a being that drains another of it's energy no matter what that energy is. Perhaps it's kinetic but the ball slows faster than normal due to the amount of resistance the ball is experiencing and this would include one who drains the energy from the situation.Maybe it's a person or spirit who clamors for attention, wanting whatever they can manipulate out of you. This definitely happens in daily interactions and not all are what most consider vampiric. However I believe for it to be vampiric energy transfer, there is a certain malice as it could be fatal behavior. But then again it's a lust for something that is dangerous and taboo. I think anyone and anything has the potential to be an energy vampire it just depends on the specific actions and what's happening. Even a crystal can drain a person, especially someone who might not understand what they are working with. The same is true for anything that can be referred to as a spirit.

I'll have to be honest, I hate the term energy/psychic vampire. Extensive research and personal experience seems to point to the conclusions that these "vampires" are merely folks who suffer/struggle with specific types of personality disorders, or are experiencing mental health symptoms. These can typically manifest as: lack of respect for boundaries, overly dramatic reactions, constant complaining, lack of accountability, and high conflict individuals - often classifying these people simply as narcissists.

The occult concept of psychic vampirism was made popular by Anton LaVey in the Satanic Bible, as he describes them as spiritually and emotional weak people who must feed on the vital energy from others. As a mystical concept however, the term had been around for 30 years prior by Dion Fortune, who combined both spiritual and scientific concepts of psychic vampirism in her book, Psychic Self Defense.

In any case, if you believe yourself to be an energy vampire, or you believe to be affected by an energy vampire, I highly recommend further reading into the topic from a psychological perspective and if necessary, seek the counsel of a mental health professional.
