Spell for full moon@sea?
By: / Beginner
Hey,
as I am going on vacation to the sea this weekend,so I'm looking for simple chants or rituals that I can include in my full moon routine.
I'd like to perform them when I'm at the beach at night. (Really hope that I can snuck out when my parents are sleeping)

Do you have any ideas?

PS: I'm still in the broom closet so it would be nice if the spells were as inconspicuous as possible:)

Thank you

I do not condone behavior where a young person sneaks out at night while on a vacation. The safety concerns are vast for a young person in any area to be out at night alone, particularly a female. Please be safe in all aspects of your life, especially while practicing the craft.

With that said I enjoy drawing in the sand on the beach in the moon light near the water's edge and further back as some workings take longer to construct than others. I have also done this under the sun and find either is fully capable of aiding any casting, as the moon light is a reflection of the sun's light<3

With a stick as your wand or staff, draw in the sand the symbols, signs, or sigils that have meaning to you and that you give intention to. You can draw geometrical shapes, letters, patterns, and even incorporate beach finds like stones, shells, driftwood, etc. These are art to some but they also carry the energy you place into them. They can be as simple or complex as you want and are very easy to incorporate while walking along the shore line. The tide will come and take your energy working away into the sea to help manifest your desired outcome. The ocean water can help take away and cleanse as well as restore and energize, it can also help wash up lost constructs, items, and even people. Life came from the sea so it can also open roads and help manifest a desire from it's dark abyss.

Many blessings to you,

Katie

I completely whole heartedly agree with Kts here. I would not recommend sneaking out at your age.

I understand you'd like to practice at the sea, I love the ocean! And do a full moon ritual while there.

You do say you are in the broom closet. I sense with your eagerness to do this, you eventually want to practice more openly. Wait. Be patient. Trust me, there will come a time when you are confident enough to enjoy your practice and spirituality.

I simply don't want anything to happen to you. How close are you to the beach? Five minute walk? Fifteen?

That said while at the beach tossing a little sand into the water is not too suspicious, or picking up a shell or beach stone to further use in practice.

However I will caution, you can do these things in front of family, perhaps not at night. Remember there will be plenty of full moons within your lifespan you can celebrate.

Always be safe.

You might think about doing a little bit of knot magick with string and seashells right there in your hotel room during the full moon. Perhaps make yourself a protective talisman in the form of a bracelet or necklace. I've done something like that many times when being outdoors was not practical or a good idea. The best part of it is that you can sit there and do it right in front of anyone. As long as you don't talk about it, no one will know what is happening. When you go home from vacation, you will have something useful and a nice reminder of your trip.

Sneaking out into the night to practice is not going to be fruitful. All you will do is be disturbed by thoughts of what happens if you get caught and that you are doing something dishonorable to the frith of your family. I think that will weaken your practice along with placing yourself at risk. Those who work from the closet soon find that all the pomp and ritual that they originally thought was necessary, really isn't. You will find your practice will grow and be stronger when you can find ways to perform in the light of day and in the company of non believers. Be resourceful and inventive. Most of the craft is what goes on in your head, not what you have to perform in the dark under the moon. Stay safe.

Say something about how the weather is so nice. Try to get everyone to go out for an evening stroll, say after dinner, along the beach or something. Definitely mention how pretty the moon is, and keep the rest of your words to the moon silent to yourself while out.
