Dreamcatcher

Hello friends~
To give some backstory , I ran some errands for one of my mother's close friends and as a thanks she gifted me some accessories, amongst which was dreamcatcher. To be noted, I'm white, she's white ,we're all white.
She said her daughter used to wear it as an accessory. I accepted it thinking I could deal with it in a more culturally respectful way. I know it was not made as a spiritual tool, and even my mom's friend modified it a bit, however I can't help but feel that I shouldn't just treat it as any other necklace.
I've looked up ways to dispose of it but they mostly just talk about cleansing it or selling/gifting it.
I was considering giving it to someone else but I live in Eastern Europe so there's not a single Native American person in here(plus that most people here are Orthodox Christians and they are pretty close minded, so I don't think they would treat it very nicely)
Any suggestions on what to do?

If it is able to be hung I suggest giving it to the earth namely on a branch of a tree. However I would consider the effect. I know not if the materials used are biodegradable. You can look into this and if they are the branch of a tree could be a decent gesture. However if this really will clutter the earth, or harm any animals it is probably best to gift it as suggested. If all else fails and if you do not want to keep it, it is probably best to bin it.

Thank you for the advice!

Unfortunately the materials are not biodegradable so I'll try to look for someone understanding who could accept it. Hope there is someone like that out there.
