Irritating Messages
By:

Hi.

I was wondering if anything can be done about certain messages I receive?

Randomly, or seemingly, members will message me informing me that I am very powerful.

Or other messages such as your abilities are locked, do you have (some social platform) I can help you unlock them.

The second message example appears to be trying to elicit personal information (social accounts). And the first example is very irritating.

Should such messages be reported? And how do I do this?

Is the first type of message even reportable?

Thanks for reading.

It sounds like attempted scams to me. I don't get such messages, so I can't really say. But on the same page as the mail, there is an option to click which says, "Click here to report this message - Report any messages which are abusive, harassing, or otherwise inappropriate. When you report a message, moderators will be able to read your entire conversation with the other person and make a decision is action is needed." Leave the message in your Default folder, so the mods can see it.

Luke prsona said, they are scams. I've gotten a couple messages like those before but just ignored them. You can report the messages if they seem to be constant.

Any of these e-mails are likely scams where the ultimate outcome will be that they are asking you to send them money. The best thing to do is to simply delete the e-mail and block the owner of the Profile. Such scams are why this site has a warning to never send money to someone you meet on-line.

The problem as far as Moderators are concerned is that, unless we actually see someone asking you to send them money, the e-mails may be annoying, but they are not actually violating site rules. But if one person starts spamming your account with messages and demands for money, what you need to do is to save the messages in your Default folder and report the messages to the Site Administrator. Pet can then look at the stored messages and take the appropriate actions about it.

I agree since they are saying your powerful and you find them irritating you could block them and any future messages they send will automatically be deleted you could also state it in your bio that you don't accept those messages as for the second it sounds like a scam hope this helped,
Blessed Be
