Reoccuring number?
By:
Hi. I keep seeing the number 11 in my life. So far I always happen to be passing a clock at the times 9:11 am/pm and 7:11 am/pm.
Just this morning I heard my parents talking about how it is 8:11.

Would someone be able to help me find out if there is a higher meaning to this reoccurence of the number 11? It would really appreciated.

Thank you for reading this.

As a compound number (two digits), 11 can represent an idea of equal opposition. A sort of stalemate or equilibrium of differences. If the number 1 represents self and identity, (I am) 11 is two 1's standing side by side. (I am) and (I also am).

As a single digit 2 (1+1), it can represent a surfacing of intuition, spiritual sensitivity, and also ideas of family. Particularly parenthood. A literal 1 + 1 coming together.

As far as why you are noticing it often, well, I used to never notice any sort of security guards when I was young and visiting the mall. But then I went into the security field myself for several years and now, every time I go shopping I can't help but notice the people wandering around in uniform, with their batman belts, leaning at balconies or wandering the floors.

Does it mean that there never used to be guards? Or is it just more likely that the image becoming familiar to me made what was always there stand out now?

I imagine that something about the number caught your attention right before this pattern came up, making it more noticeable to you. So now you see it everywhere. Not because it is suddenly happening more but simply because your attention is drawn to it more than usual. After all, in all fairness, the number eleven shows on a clock at least once an hour. And for the entire hour at 11 am and 11 pm.

Though, this does not necessarily downplay the pattern. It just might give a new question to ask which might lead you to your answer.

Instead of asking why 11 is significant, maybe try asking yourself why your attention is so suddenly being drawn to it. What are you already seeing in it that has you noticing the number so readily? What about your perceptions has changed to make it stand out?

Thank you so much for your answer! So far I was just thinking it was a message, I didn't even think about the possibility that I was just used to seeing 11 lol.

Thank you for telling me this! I'm very grateful.

Have an amazing day/night wherever you are!

No worries. I think it might still be worth pondering on though, especially if you have been stuck on a particular choice or situation. Even if it wasn't some external 'message' there is usually a reason why things start grabbing your attention.

Call it synchronicity, or think of it as the world mirroring you back on yourself, either way there still might be some use in comparing the number's meaning/connections with your current circumstances. There might be fuel for some introspection there. Or even insight into something you have been thinking about/puzzling over lately.

Have you been dwelling on any mixed ideas lately, where they seem to be polar opposites but both still somehow make sense? The universe does seem to enjoy running on paradoxes I find. And the number 11 kind of meshes with that idea. Two singular things that are equal but stand apart instead of coming together.
