As always I love growing and harvesting some of my own herbs. Just today I picked a sprig of catnip to offer Sekhmet, the Egyptian goddess, as I am healing from yet another battle during this ongoing pandemic. I am also utilizing essential oils of frankincense and lavender to combat the onset of another respiratory illness. Eucalyptus and peppermint oils help to clear the airways and flush the lymphatic system as my body fights the germs and allergens that have triggered my immune system response to the change of the seasons. It's a scary time to have preexisting reparatory issue but I find that pocket full of posies to actually help.

Many Blessings

I have been craving to try again to make a homemade cleansing spray, I have made sprays in the past but used lemon grass, and I'd like something which smells a little different.

I intend to pick up the essential oils tomorrow. Here is hoping I find what I'm looking for.

For respiratory issues I burn a little mullein flower, and do a yoga exercise I built around the upper respiratory area.

A spiritual cleansing spray, and I will not be needing 25 drops, as I am only making enough to fill 1 to 3 spray bottles. I may make more than one to gift to others if I feel it comes out nice. I will be making them bottle by bottle. 25 drops a bottle of each oil will be too much.

Thank you for your comments.

Apologies, 25 drops of oil/oils in 2 gallons of water. For my entire house. I have cleansing sprays that are for both spiritual and physical healing and protection in one bottle. My daughter loves to help she has perfected a cleansing disinfectant for courage and strength for her room. And I only allow her 3 to 4 drops to 20oz bottle.

I am starting again to make herbal supplies. I took a long break from deity work and am again getting back into it and have concocted a few deity inspired supplies. A Morrigan Protection powder and perfume. I have also been experimenting with some loose incense blends but have yet to perfect them. I intend to keep trying.

Any herbal interests these days? Does anyone else make some of their own supplies? What are some of your favorite things to make?

I enjoy crafting all sorts of herbal blends that benefit my life and practice. Recently I put together a blend of someherbs in honor of my grandmother's birthday, life, and passing. Mint because she would have me go collect it from the yard to brew some sun tea, Wild carrot becausewe would dye the tops with food color and eat the roots. Purple Iris for she grew many of them and it was this flower that was used for he son's funeral. Bayberry because she would always burn bayberry candles at Christmasand new years. Clove because it was the main spice in her pickled red beets. This blend is made from both wild craftedand purchased herbs. When creating an herbal blend it does not need to be a huge amount. Sometimes the smallest amounts crushed together in a mortar and pestle then placedin a mojo bag that is worn or carried is the most powerful.

Many Blessings

Hi,
yes, lately I have been very drawn to hoodoo and jar spells which use among other things, oils, herbs and roots. I have obtained a few books on recipes on making your own oils and powders and so on, and plan to do this very soon. I've also made my own potions in the past using household items so looking forward to taking things further with making my own potions using herbs and so forth
