Does a banishing spell still work if you live with the person?

Yes! It might take a bit more energy, but you can do banishing spells to encourage people to move out.

I've never used a banishing spell on a physical person before. Generally, I use them in encounters with negative spirits or what I presume to be demons. It's really more of a psychic endeavor. Despite that, I am confused about what you're asking here.

The way this is worded, it sounds as though you would ideally perform a banishing with this person moved out, but what exactly would you be banishing? Are you referring to a cleansing instead, maybe? Simply to remove their energy from the space? Or are you meaning that you want to banish them from the premises and get them to move out?

If it is the first option, a cleansing will work either way, but you will likelyneed to repeat it more often if they still live with you as their presence and their energy will more frequently contaminate the space.

If it is the second option, I am not sure if that is still called a banishing. As I said, banishings are, asI understand them, more psychic or astral than really physical processes. Anyhow, if you wish them to move out, the first thing I would recommend is not magical at all. Simply talk to them. Explain that you do not feel living together is benefitting you anymore and you would like to tryliving apart. Sometimes communication is a better solution than anything magical. If you're nervous about it, you could always meditate first or try a good luck spell to boost your confidence in the outcome, but talking it out is probably still your best bet.

It should work, but it'll take more energy and focus.
