Herbal Bath Oils

Hi.

I thought I'd share a recipie for these I've found.

You'll need something like a lotion bottle. Olive oil (preferably virgin, extra virgin), herbal essential oil of your choice, the safer the herb the better. Vodka.

4 parts olive oil

1 part herbal oil- Rose, Lavender, Orange blossom

1 part vodka

Add the ingredients into your lotion bottle. Shake the bottle after adding the ingredients and before use.

Add the oil to your bath.

Always before using herbal cosmetic products, rub a bit on the inside of your wrist, a small amount, for a skin test. Do not use the product after any sign of irritation.

This is a very good advice, but I personally like to keep my baths and to charge my crystals all in a fully natural way.

Using essential oils may increase the power of the act, but my masters have never recommended using essential oils in baths and stone chargings.

I'm not gonna tell you why, I'll let you figure that out on your own.

Blessings!

It then sounds like we practice different paths.
That is wonderful and most welcome.
I recently have begun to charge stones I intend to gift to others with homemade oils. I got the idea when a business sent me a perfume charged stone as a gift.
Of course one would not do this with stones which dissolve such as selenite, calcite etc.

Blessings to you.

I use essential oils in my baths all the time, especially if I am taking a cleansing bath prior to rituals. While I wouldn't put essential oils directly on my skin because of the possibility of irritation from them, they are perfectly safe in a bath. I also make blends of essential oils that I customize to enhance any working I might be doing.
