I'm looking for a spell that will encourage someone to listen to me. We have a disagreement and they won't consider my side at all and they have a history of not listening to me at all. Does anyone know a spell for this?
We all have opinions, maybe they just do not care what your opinion is? My husband and I have disagreements constantly, most of the time I do not consider his side.
However, if you truly want to encourage someone, you can always try a honey jar.
You can try a honey jar as previously stated.
Or a sweetening spell in general, they don't all utilize honey.
I prefer in my practice to use candle workings for sweetening, as opposed to a long term jar working.
I like to use a sweetening candle spell if I want to sweeten someone to myself or another fairly quick.
I dress a tealight with a self made dressing oil which smells very sweet. I then concentrate on the individual or situation I'd like to sweeten while I let the candle burn itself out.
One thing to consider as well is that just because someone disagrees with you, it does not necessarily mean they are not listening or devaluing your statement. They may just disagree with your perspective, or, if related to specific information they may view your stance as incorrect or misinformed.
Opinion and interpretation of many situations rely on a number of factors that can be unique to any individual. Experience, education, personal world views and outlooks, even morality.
If you want someone to hear you, you need to also hear them. That means applying the situation under debate to the perspective of the other person. Look at the discussion from the other person's frame of reference and see it from their eyes. You never know, on reflection you might find yourself to be the one in error. Or more likely, you will find the solution to be somewhere in the middle of your opposing perspectives.
Any good and proper debater will say the best way to understand and best present your position on a topic is to first try your hardest to defeat it.
