Hello. My friend has been going through tough times lately and I was wondering if anyone could tell me a spell to give them good luck or to charm an object to give to them.
It would be really helpful if anyone has any advice.
You gave an example of a charm to give your friend for luck.
Honestly I feel this to be a wonderful idea and gesture if your friend would like something like this. Although as an individual whom does not follow Wicca, I do not necessarily feel it right exactly to toss ethics out the window completely.
If your friend is not receptive to the idea of magic it is for the best to respect this. Because, well theyr'e your friend, for this reason alone they should be well considered.
That said if your friend would appreciate a good luck charm, I genuinely recommend Tiger's Eye. A prosperity stone, protection stone, and luck stone. It is a very loving stone to give. It is good as well to protect against the evil eye, if it is programmed with this intent in mind.
You could also try Chinese Amulets. There are many that carry properties of prosperity and luck, being an Eastern method. I have used a couple in the past. These are usually drawn onto paper, but if you prefer to give them to your friend in the form of more of a gift you could paint one on a box, and give it to your friend in the form of a Prayer box. This very well may be appreciated. Let your friend know it is to bring prosperity into their life. It doesn't hurt to let those we care about know that we care and want good for them.
The Chinese Amulets will require a bit of research on your part, to discover what they look like, so you are able to write or draw them, and as well to get an idea of their properties and qualities. Hopefully you don't mind a little researching.

As far as a spell I'd consider a luck charm first. Though you are not required to avoid casting on a friend, I'd consider their feelings anyway. As a friend to people myself my personal feelings are that my friend's thoughts and feelings count, and they do not personally accept spellwork in their own life, I'd prefer honor this.
There are many stones that can be used for luck . Like the tiger's eye there is also a crystal called green adventurine . Green adventurine is also known as the gambler's stone and the stone of heaven due to its good luck properties. You can charm it by keeping in the moon and doing a suitable chant to the deity of prosperity according to your belief.
Just be careful for one thing that it should not be exposed to sunlight as it is prone to discoloration.

Ok. Thank you for this advice! I just asked my friend about it and they said they don't want a lucky charm but this is very good advice that I could use for something else.
