I am confused, you haven't made any posts except for this one. Are you referring to private messages to people or a chat function? Most people on this site won't be nasty or hateful, they will explain things out as we understand them. If there was a specific post you felt harassed on please report this, otherwise, what information or question are you seeking? Is it strictly regarding the Dark Web? Most of the content on YouTube is made for entertainment purposes. There are several individuals that make videos about being called to a house that is haunted and they stay the night. These are mostly, actors making content to entertain. There are some collaborate videos that have suspected videos of haunting and such, which some may be real but the majority are fake. With the dark web mystery boxes, I have seen several videos in this manner. Some are obviously fake others are hard to tell but the one common theme in all of them is that the poster is filming themselves doing something. This is entertainment. The whole purpose is for entertainment. I don't understand why anyone would want to receive a box with an unknown originor history just to see if it is haunted. You don't know the history or what energy is contained within it. Do I believe the ones shown in videos are haunted? No. But that is a personal opinion, not a fact. Do I believe that objects can carry negative energy or evil connections to entities, yes. Energy can be found in everything, including objects. I would take anything off YouTube as farce in regards to this sort of thing, but I would be cautious to accept anything from a stranger, especially off "the dark web".
Your question isn't dumb. It is valid and something that really can't be given an answer to, since there are so many videos out there, it is difficult to tell what is real and what is faked just for subscribers. I would say continue to watch them if you enjoy that suspense, but let someone else take that risk!

YouTube is not a very reputable place to look for information about real magic. There are an awful lot of videos on there that are just plain fake. I would not trust them as a source of information, particularly when it comes to items that are supposedly "haunted"
Are there any particular magical topics on which you would like more information. Perhaps some of us could then offer you some better resources for learning more.

For starters, I haven't seen you on this site [unless this is a new account] and regarding youtube, the first rule of youtube has always been "never read the comments." As for people insulting you when you're smart, it doesn't matter how smart you are if you don't know a subject. I'm fairly intelligent myself, I was an honour student all through school, but if someone asked me to perform brain surgery, I couldn't. [heck, I've been a practicing witch for half my life, and while I could help you with Egyptian pantheon, I'm next to useless with Norse pantheon] It doesn't mean you're not intelligent, it simply means it's not your field of study.
Yes, people can be harsher than others when talking to newbies, but understand when someone says "you can't do that, you have to do this" they're not insulting you, they're trying to help you. I think you need to not take things so personally, take some deep breathes, and move past minor criticisms [and I refer to older members teaching, not people calling you names for being new]
As for items on the dark web, firstly, I don't visit the dark web. Secondly, I don't trust anyone who tells me they have a rare cursed artifact to sell me. Thirdly, you don't need these items, especially if you're new [it's like giving a kid who is trying to ride a tricycle a motorcycle. You're missing a few steps that lead to the motorcycle] I would avoid these items, for now, get a solid footing, get comfortable in your craft, then consider seeking them out. [if you require book recommendations or other reading material, I can provide some as needed]
Finally, since you're a YouTuber and gear to learn, might I recommend TheLadyGraveDancer? She's an older member of the witchy youtube community and she teaches many subjects, but not from a Wiccan perspective [as most witches tend to] she has videos on curses and working with animal parts if that's the stuff you're interested in. She also discusses practical magick, specific herbs you can use and provides spells. She's left youtube, but her videos are still up [last I checked, anyway] you might enjoy her work.

Most actual mystery boxes are scams, and the dark web is inaccessible. Assuming you actually meant the deep web, it's impossible to navigate without already knowing where to go, and if you follow links provided by random people, you'll more likely than not end up on something illegal, so it's best you just stay of of the deepweb all together.
