Basic Witch Bottle

Hello all,

Witch bottles are one of the simplest, most viable methods of protection that every practitioner should have in their armory. The witch bottle carries many names across different cultures and the particular recipes utilized are often customized to the tastes of their creators. Traditionally these bottles act as protections against incoming maledictions and ill-intended magics in general; used properly they carry another benefit; namely the deterrence of mundane malice, though in this regard simple witch bottles tend to be less potent. Witch bottles can be adapted to very specific purposes from retributive to more specialized, heightened wards. The example shared below provides schema for making a straight-forward witches bottle. In addition to providing an introduction, there will also be instructions on how to utilize them for basic external shielding.

Recipe for a singular witches bottle.

Items Needed:
One glass bottle
Urine from the person making it
Shrapnel (razors, nails, pins/needles; anything cutting, sharp and unpleasant)

->For additional sting add acids or other toxic fluids/rusty nails/etc; in short, materials that burn, sting, or poison.

Once the bottle is made seal it tight and bury it. To create a protective barrier around a particular area sink four witches bottles into the ground for each corner.

**Note: This is an extremely basic recipe designed for deterrence. More advanced practitioners create complex bottles to serve a variety of purposes.

Many experienced practitioners, through their journeys, have accepted reality that there is no such thing as having too many jars on hand.
