Catnip for Bast

So, I have a question. If I were to give catnip as an offering to Bast, how long should I leave it on my altar? Do I dispose of it outside eventually? Basically, what do I eventually do with the catnip once it has been offered?

I usually leave offering for a day, no longer than two, if they're food/drink. If it's something like flowers or herbs, I would leave them about a week. For the catnip, is it fresh or dried? Dried I would leave a week then burn it or leave it outside. If fresh, I would place it outside after a day or two. [if you have a cat, I would just give it right to the cat. also, make sure the cat can't get onto your altar or it'll knock everything over]

Aside from what has already been said here, if you're looking for more offerings to give to her, I've found she also enjoys sweet wines and perfumes.
