moving a spirit

the house that i grew up in had a spirit named frank coexisting with us. none of my family was frightened of him, he was the previous owner of the property. he was accepted and actually look upon as a sort of guardian. in later years when i used the house as a rental my tenants would often comment on his activities. now, the house is scheduled for demolition. does anyone have experience moving a spirit from one site to another? i live about a block away, i know that he was familiar with the house in his lifetime because i knew the woman who lived here at that time. suggestions of procedure?

Spirits are like people sometimes they don't want to be moved. It's best to just tell the spirit what will be done to the place and tell him that he is always welcomed in your new place if you wish for him to visit. If he has crossover he should be able to go in any place he wishes there is no need to worry.

What Winterclan said. Frank will likely want and appreciate an explanation as to what's happening to his home.

Another way is this: Some people will put an empty jar or box in the middle of the room and encourage the good spirits to enter the object. Later, it is put in the new home and the good spirits encouraged to stay. A lid it put over the jar or the flaps are closed on the box and when in the new place, the jar lid is removed/the folds of the box opened. I've known people to do this when moving and it seems to work.
