There are never any clocks when this man is around. I am normally speaking to my guide at this time, I had banished him when I was there because he was disturbing me. He has not bother me since. I always thought the reason why he never attacked me was because my spirit guide was close by.

Well, don’t deal in absolute. Many people have reported clocks in rooms, sometimes with the man, sometimes without. Your experience doesn’t mean everybody’s, but thanks for telling me your perspective, I appreciate it! (:

I have been reading this post with interest for some time, just waiting to see how things will enfold.I was not planning to get involved, but now that I saw that Benwrighta posted the link for "the game" decided it is about time to get involved before people get hurt.

First of all, I will be more worried of who is the so called Guide, and if they know what are doing rather than just messing around with your consciousness, while you in vulnerable state of mind. Initially, I assumed by Guide you meant spiritual guide as of spiritual being not human. Although, it is recommended that during any spiritual ordeal or journeying, hosting or partial possession, there is a Sitter or Watcher, one must be very very careful to pick the right person with the right motives and skills. For example, ideally they should have been trained to administer first aid, and are trained to can handle people, who can become mentally and emotionally unstable and potentially dangerous to themselves and others. The door technique is widely used by hypnotherapist in order to aid the subject to switch from Beta brain waves functioning state of the brain to Alpha and possibly Theta. Emotionally traumatized and very overwhelmed individuals can directly switch to Delta state, and eventually become absolutely unresponsive to any stimulus. These are the situations in which the skills of the Sitter come into play. Because while the so called subject is in any of these states, The Sitter is responsible for maintaining their physical and mental well-being. Additionally, people in trance states or dreamlike states function in a state in which they are open to any kind of suggestions an affirmations, and they are able to crate false memories in order to create traumas. This can especially happen, if the person that put them in this state suggested ever so slightly that there is/was foul play. Moreover, the subject can auto-sugest to themselves psychosomatic symptoms. Such as what can appear as skin redness/rash and light scratches. The Sitter must be very very careful in everything they do or say, so that they do not influence the subjects' experiences and turn them dark not realizing it even.

Everything in the provided instructions is included with the sole aim to put you in hypnotic/dreamlike state. Starting from the choice of words/ideas/images and their repetition, to the positions of the bodies of both participants. Note the structure of the questions. They literally dictate what you should be experiencing, and people in this state will most likely follow these instructions and change their inner reality, as they experience it internally to match what is expected from them. The words chosen are too specific.

The carefully picked questions should be neutral. Here is the list changed to be neutral and not to prompt certain response.

Where are you?
What do you see/experience?
Describe the things you see in terms of colour and shape?
How the things you see are influencing your emotions?
Do you feel safe to continue ahead and to explore the place you are experiencing?

Note there is nothing suggested or very highly specific so no response is influenced or prompted.

This is no game. It is exercise to aid someone to switch to higher state of consciousness, which has its pros and cones.

There is secondary reason why one should pick their Sitter very carefully. The said Sitter better be able to do trance work themselves, and to have had established spiritual connection with you beforehand, so they can reach you in case you end up anyway in some Space full with negative beings and experiences. If they can do energy manipulation, and are able to channel the Light even better. Negative beings will stay away from anyone, who can channel the Light, including anyone they are in physical and spiritual contact too. The Sitter/Watcher must be able to jump in and out of the trance quickly because remember they are also responsible for keeping your physical body safe, at the same time. If one has spiritual guides, which can assist them in their spiritual journeys/trances is even better, but in this case the guide should be able to get along with the Sitter too. I would never recommend relaying on spiritual guide and Sitter that cannot get along at all.

The Man in the Suit, The Man with the Hat, The Monk, The Hag are not humans at all. They were never humans nor will ever be. They are beings which have many names all around the world and many forms. They are entities of the Shadow another Space, which also has many many names. Lets call the place The Abyss, as the dead human spirits call it. They are not who, they are what. When I was child, they used to watch me all the time. They watch to find weakness, and they usually do not mess with most humans, unless said human is really gifted in trance work and energy manipulation. They have the ability to change your emotional and energetic states, and thus manipulate the reality you experience in your dreams and in any state that is not your normal awake state. If the person can switch naturally between the states, eventually they creep up on them, even in their mundane awake state of mind. The only way to stay away from them is to remain in your normal/mundane, awake state as long as possible. However, if they are highly invested in you, they will find you anywhere at any time. They do not experience time like we do, and they are not bound to location for most part as us humans are bound to our bodies. These beings are predators, and are extremely sneaky and cleaver. All these visions of bloody walls and such are most likely their doing.

It is indeed better to go up to the Light place than down to The Dark. I have had before a dream with the Hag, but it was not just a dream. I just managed to reach the Light place, and she dragged me down by manipulating my dream, so I fell down towards darkness so so fast. I knew it then and there, I must wake up immediately, remain in in awake state, where she cannot reach me easy.

You will never be trapped in trance forever. Especially, if you found a good Sitter and good guides. Once I became trapped because I would not let go of this Place. I did not want to let go and return to my body, and spiritual beings dragged me back in my body. I was told I wont be allowed to stay in other planes of existence more than 24 hours or my body would have been in decline. I have dragged people out of higher states myself. You cannot stay there for days, or your body will eventually waste away.

It is very unlikely that if you "die" in this state your physical body will die too. Astral body and spiritual body cannot die. They can undergo dead alike experience, but they exist beyond time and space. Once one of these beings got me in my sleep, and was choking me. I must have stopped to breath in my sleep, and I was dying for real. Then, I heard the voice of my Higher Self repeating over and over with urgency "Wake up or you will die for real". I woke up and realized that I was struggling for breath in real life too. The Sitter should be able take you out of the higher state of consciousness, without having to shake you violently. There are special ways and techniques to achieve that. Spiritual guide or your own Higher Self should be able to do it too, if you have good relationship with them.

The clock room also has many names. I call it the clock garden. Used to draw it a lot as a teenager in my automatic drawings. It is between space in between spaces so to speak. I would not recommend people ,who are not well traveled spiritually to go there.

One more thing. If you are spiritual medium, channeler, physical medium, shaman, or anyone that can become vessel of any being either partially or fully, never ever play this so called "game". Then it is not a game it is a hazard. Especially, if are unable to pick up a good fight for the control of your body, mind, emotional state and spirit or you will put yourself and your Sitter in harms way.

Something upsetting I found on the spiritual forums... Apparently this man in formal clothing has been seen by others than just you. http://www.spiritualforums.com/vb/showthread.php?t=69520 I wonder what his intentions are, who he is, where he came from.

I'm curious about this because when I was in college, I felt like there was a threatening male presence in our apartment, and he sounds kind of similar to what you guys are describing. I was pretty psychologically vulnerable at the time and I hadn't really worked on any kind of psychic defenses so maybe that's why. definitely unnerving tho.

Whilst I would like to give my thought on dangers and safety of such practices i do believe Art gave a nice perspective on why you shouldn't treat these matters like a game. I will actually notate that it's a foolish thing to call this a game. But I will impose my thoughts on the experience as a whole and what this man in a suit is.

Astal projection - not to be confused with etheric projection or spiritual projection- is a projection of the subconscious mind into a space of existence beyond the immediate surrounding. You extend your mind to being beyond just yourself, but it still remains to be yourself. This awareness of the astral plane is a self contained other dimension conjured by your thoughts and subconscious mind. It is what you will it to be. The real danger lies within yourself. If you get lost and can't pull out of this state you are lost in your own mind. Refer back to what Art said on guide/sister safety.

This self self contained reality is not only what you make it out to be. There are beliefs and practices where people can reach out and touch into other's dimensions and interact and percieve and experience what the host does - for reference look at dream walking.

So what then is this experience the practitioner is having? Well the answer lies in what the author of the guided meditation said. Each room has a purpose. Different colours and designs have different meanings. This is the foundation of the experience. A self contained dimension or sub-space with ground rules set by the expected outcome before even going into it. You know what to look for. You know what to experience and as your subconscious mind reaches out you connect with, not just simply your own astral plane, but an astral world with a pre-determined design and purpose whose foundation is already laid.

So what then is the man in the suit? Keeping in line with the aforementioned, whoever came up with this "game" whether by intention or not, let seep in some darker aspects of their subconscious mind. Dark past, tucked away emotions, feelings, and memories that festers and gestates at the back of the mind that the person has not come to terms with. The dark side of one's self. These are still subconscious attributes that leak into the astral reality and manifest. Likely the creator did not understand what the man in the suit was or did not want to come to terms with it. Thus feeding it power with fear and other unsettling emotions. Giving it more stability to exist in the self contained world possibly to a state of intelligent sentience. Then there is the possibility that the creator simply didn't care and knew what (s)he was doing and spread the idea of the man in the suit and his dangers anyways.

Time goes on. Stories get told. People all over commit to this meditation tapping into the world with their astral conjurations. The story of the man in the suit continues because he is there. He has become part of that world and a little bit of each practitioner gets infused with him, much like what certain rooms are. But you can't talk about the doing this "game" without giving warning of this man and what rooms to look out for. That's a key point. What if someone were to do this with no conscious awareness of the danger rooms and no awareness of the man in the suit?

Danger rooms are no different than the man. Why would you be scared of a room of clocks in fear of getting lost? Now you are because you were told that you may be lost and now you've fed power to that room. Now you have set the stage before your journey begins. Had you not have known that detail it's completely possible you could have simply conjured your own world and not tap into that world as described by the original post. Given that, without foreknowledge of the man in the suit it's also plausible you would not have an interaction with him because he's not part of your subconscious expected outcome. Although, that's not to say you would be free of negative embodiments and rooms. You do have your own self-imposed dangers of your own design whether you wanted that or not. But with all foreknowledge, you have a world with dangers that are there pre-existing and what you bring to the table.

But remember, that astral projection and the astral planes are a projection of your subconscious mind and a reality of your design. You can easily make changes and shape the world to satisfy your need to feel safe and comfortable. But ask yourself; if you go on a journey of self discovery and bend the world to your happy delights, do you really come out learning from the experience; or have you given yourself a false sense of security fabricated around the idea of keeping your own personal "clock room," man in the suit, etc. bottled and hidden away so you don't have to confront your darkness? Thank you so much Artindark, your wealth of information was more than I could’ve hoped for. I’d also like to apologize as I had no idea that this “game” was this dangerous. No excuses, just plain ignorance on my behalf.
Your explanation of the sitters role makes a lot of sense, but I’m curious as to how far the implication rule goes. I know from lucid dream practice how the slightest negative thought can make it go haywire, and how difficult it can be to control that. My main question is what exactly IS this practice? Are these areas part of any objective reality or are they all subjective?(especially intrigued by this one). How does one safely guide someone when their brains may come up with something unexpectedly?
I’m sorry, I do have a few more questions. Any answers from anyone would be very much appreciated, as I believe lack of information is very dangerous, as shown from earlier and I seek to know the truth behind this.
What do you believe the higher self to be? Is it a link of sorts to heaven? Is it you in idealized form? Or is it some other thing I’m not aware of. I have heard differing explanations, and I’m curious of yours
You also seem to know much about the clock room. What exactly is it? Why does it exist?
My last question relates to the original post. You say the these beings are a what rather than a who. So are they malevolence embodied? Are they also a subjective creature? How can a what think like us, as wouldn’t that attribute identify it and give it a who? Why do they do what they do? There must be some kind of motivating factor, so why?
Again, thank you so much for what you have already said. I never expected to get this much information here. I still maintain a certain amount of doubt over everything, but I will attempt to prove what you have said through personal experiences and/or collections of more data

Quick note, I did not see vanity’s post which answers a few of the questions I asked.
I also have reason to believe that the man in the suit lives beyond a subjective conscious, because (however weak of a reason) I know from a friend (anecdotal I know) that she had her boyfriend do it and she had never had any issues with the “game” herself, despite reading about the man in the suit on the site. Her boyfriend had a pretty messed up experience although he had no idea the man in the suit existed. So while I do agree that information like this could often lead to people seeing said negative energy (ex. Mirrors in dreams always show your worst fear) I don’t believe it is the case with this

Your point is exactly why I made the explanation on how it is a world on its own subject to the blending of your own consciousness and that of others who have interactions with it. I also explained it as (two) parallel worlds of similar design. One the world as designed and tapped into by the many people visiting it. The alternative being of your own design. The latter being the likely answer for your friend's boyfriend's experience. He didn't experience the man in the suit because he was able to separate the predetermined expectation from his own design when he had the experience. With this clear separation he had his own world separate from the original design and thus had a whole different experience. Though even as you say his experience wasn't without its problems which is to be expected. I would say that he had enough thought control to make the world and go there without the original design aspects intruding, but not too much control that it was a perfect experience wich allowed his subconscious to fill the rooms. Which all of your questions and this were previously explained. Maybe not in the most obvious of ways, sure. Even though it is still a very strong likelihood that knowing the details can have an imprint, it does not necessarily mean that will be from case to case - as expressed by your example. Think upg versus pcpg, but a slight twist on the latter.

If there's any other questions you have, ask away.
