Yarrow

I cant tell if the plant I found and put in a pot is yarrow, and I cant find any photos of it unbloomed, it was growing in the winter, but dying quickly near a flower area in my neighbors yard, my neighbor is also into herbalism and he said it looks like it, although he is 70 some years old, I also don’ know how often to water it, but I have read that it can be used in love spells and dried for an aromic scent. Any info on the herb Yarrow would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

There is a picture of the foliage of yarrow without the blooms at https://www.google.com/url?sa=i&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=images&cd=&ved=2ahUKEwi_15H7-pzmAhVmneAKHWp0AEEQjRx6BAgBEAQ&url=https%3A%2F%2Fstrictlymedicinalseeds.com%2Fproduct%2Fyarrow-official-achillea-millefolium-potted-plant-organic%2F&psig=AOvVaw0q-tBSirNh8YxcvHABKPP-&ust=1575582120250471

Or you could take a piece of the plant to your local agricultural extension service or a good nursery for identification to be sure.
