Ground spell, white circl

So I know someone who did a bring him back spell, buried it outside under the full moon. Today when looking at the spot she put in, the ground now has a white circle around it. Its not easy removed (not that we Tried) her dog walked onit as we were looking (100 pd dog) and notjing moved.
Is this a bad sign? As seeing I have never casted a spell like this before. I'm a little unknowing.
