I need some advice, I was put on this earth to help humanity. I hate seeing people hurt and sick. I am a empath, I can feel others pain. My personal problem is, how can I show myself the same care and compassion as I do for people?

I would look at yourself as you'd look at anyone else who is suffering. Observe your situation and treat yourself with the same compassion and love that you would treat another who is undergoing stress and pain.

Most importantly listen to yourself. Your mind and body will give you symptoms and signs when you are running on empty. So make sure you do something to recharge your spirits.

There are many ways you can 'treat' yourself to make sure you feel regenerated. If you have time you can meditate on the days happenings, take a bath or even do something as simple as lighting an incense while you take a moment to read something you are interested in. The important part is that you do so with the intent of self love and compassion just like you would hug and take the time to listen to someone who's gone through a breakup (for example).

Set boundaries and shield your energy. You run the risk of giving too much to others, and a bad as you may feel saying no, you help no one if you burn yourself out. I would take one day a week to serve yourself [say have an at home spa day, or binge TV, or whatever you do to relax] you should also ground, shield and meditate daily to keep yourself balanced and not bogged down with others energy [you can also carry crystals, herbs, and satchels to protect you from these things]
