Greetings all

Greetings and good fortune fellow casters, for privacy reasons I will be using my profile name. Just a bit about my Magic history, started practicing 4 years ago, my family has a history of users the closest to me being my great-great grandmothers sister. Story goes her youngest son had mono and was bed ridden for days with a swollen liver, he started recovering and the first day he felt well enough to walk he went outside on their farm. as soon as he got out in the yard a black goat they had came up and rammed him in the stomach and ruptured his liver and he bled out in a few minutes. after he died his mother allegedly stood up and screamed "foul" curses at the goat to the point her husband had to force her inside and onto a chair to calm down. the next morning the goat was dead, his neck and face swollen and bleeding from its eyes and ears. since then as far as I can tell my family has followed Judeo-Christian religions, mostly Catholicism. my own story of what I refer to as an awakening of ability was only 2 years ago when, after my fathers early death, I had to sell his home that he built and designed. I grew up in that house and it was on this large private lake with only 4 other people sharing it. the buyers of the house proved to be snobby, self indulged people who made unending demands and wants that were never agreed on in the sale. the night before they move in I preform a ritual I had been working on at the house. I did it outside and it took about an hour. nothing seemed to really be flowing for me and I thought it was a bust, but about half an hour later the clouds cleared out and the moon was very visible and I had an urge to go outside again. I walked out, stood in the driveway and shot my arms out to my sides like I was being shocked. I titled my head back and gazed into the crescent moon for around 15 minutes, but it felt like an hour, and hummed a tune I had in my head I hadn't heard before. anyway after a few more minutes I just kinda felt like going back inside and that was it. a month after moving out, I hear from one of the other people who lived on the lake that the damn randomly burst one night and the whole lake drained in 3 days. to this day the damn hasn't been able to be repaired enough to fill the lake, basically making that property worth half as much. after that I started taking the practice much more seriously and look forward to speaking and possibly working with you all.
