Salve recipes

I was wondering if anyone could point the way to some recipes to make a pain or massage salve or lotion from wild lettice, mimosa, or a combination of both. I've made dandelion salve and some insect repellent lotion bars but wanted to try those. I've made wild lettuce and mimosa flower and bark tinctures as well as wild lettuce and mimosa oils and still have some dandelion oil left.
Also,are the mimosa seeds poisonous? I've read where they are and other people say they eat them often. ALso, is there a medicinal use for them. I've got pounds of them in my yard..I was able to harvest a whole lot of flowers but there are leave and seed pods everywhere and I hate to waste.

Mimosa seeds are poisonous if eaten in "large quantities". What a large quantity might be depends on a variety of factors. Frankly I'd avoid eating them as I tend to stay away from things which are known to be fatal when ingested.
