Are the Law of Attraction and Magick the same thing?

In a way, yes. The issue that some people have with the ideas behind the Law of Attraction is that thoughts alone are often not enough to manifest a desire. Sometimes actions must facilitate the desired end, and sometimes it takes more than hard wishing to set an intention. This sort of thing is why stuff like sigils and spells are believed to further help people who practice magic for external results.
