I love sage, not only it purifies the room and gets rid of negativity but it also smells great, it also keeps you alert.

Valerian and lavender for rest and peaceful sleep. St. John's Wort for feeling sad. Ginger and peppermint for stomach upsets. Turmeric for arthritis pain. Red raspberry leaves for menstrual cramps. Etc.

I use quite a lot of lavender, I absolutely adore it. Whenever and wherever I can, I add it. Mint is also amazing, but unfortunately, I cannot drink it as I already have some issues with constipation and mint tends to constipate a person even more. But I totally recommend it in case of diarrhea. I also use quite a lot of ginger and ginseng and whenever I struggle to sleep I drink some chamomile tea, which works wonders. :)

As an herbalist and essential oil fanatic I use a wide variety of plants and their medicine to maintain and heal the body, mind, and soul. Ona daily basis I am utilizing healing herbs in my diet as well as in the health and beauty products I use. I consume garlic and ginger for their cleansing properties and to boost myimmune system. I often ingest both in higher doses when in need of extra healing such as during a cold or other illness when the immune system is weakened and in need of natural antibiotics, Clove is my go to for oral health, not only for it's anti viral and antiseptic properties but because it's also anti-inflammatory and antibacterial. Clove oil may also increase antioxidant protections and be used in cleaning products to help disinfect surfaces naturally. Lavender is a great calming herb and I use it in my eye pillows to aid in relaxation and to reduce swelling aroundthe eyes. I also use Lavender essential oil mixed with frankincenseessential oil for my skin. I eat a daily salad and often make my own with fresh herbs such as thyme (antimicrobial), rosemary (enhances brain function), and cilantro (supports healthy digestion).

I took Valerian crystals for insomnia, while it did cause me to be a bit drowsy, it also induced paranoia, and definetly was NOT what I was entirely expecting.
