Wand?

Do you really need a wand with magick? Or can you use any object like a crystal?

A wand is simply a tool to assist in focussing and directing energy, it can be wood, metal or crystal, etc, but they certainly aren't necessary if you don't want to use one or don't have one.

A wand is not necessary. The wand is simply one of the tools you can use to focus and direct energy. You can accomplish the same thing using your index finger.

I disagree, depends what you are doing- not all magic is intention based. If you are working with a specific system and it calls for a wand made of a specific material or to a specific design I would follow it as close to the letter as possible.

If the wand is simply to direct energy, then your finger will work.
