So you use mainly tarot cards to predict the future? Nice and trustworthy way. I am a fan of tarot as well.
PS: This post was not intended as a discussion but rather as a place to share how everyone uses divining techniques in their own way :)

Well yeah, I'm a big fan of tarot. I've used other systems in the past but my personal preference is tarot.

Honestly the way I have always been able to do it is in person or having a photo of the person, but naturally, people don't tend to like that which is why I don't often offer such services.

However, I think I want to start practicing different ways.

Ah, I love this! Hearing and learning about how other people preform divination is something I really enjoy doing, and I could see this being really informative.Nice thread idea, Charles.

My go-to divination method is bone-reading, personally. It's what's clicked with me the most. I also do divination with pendulums, dice, and my bow and arrows, as well as intuition and dreams. I've dabbled in a couple other divining methods, but those are the ones I return to.

Thanks for the replies. I also use pictures sometimes. I believe you can read a lot of the soul through the eyes of a person.
As for bow and arrow? How does that work?

I use one arrow for "yes" and one for "no"--whichever goes farthest is the answer. I've heard of people using an arrow for "ask again" or "maybe" before, as well, but I don't tend to use that. My method is based on divination done historically by the Greeks and Arabs, but I've changed some things to make it work for me. :)

Clouds. Their patterns. How they fade or swell.

My way of foretune telling is by the use of two types of divination. Hydromancy and Necromancy; my techniques involve for hydromancy tapping into and channeling the spirit of water in order to gain or have visions. I use necromancy in a similar way but to gain visions from spirit possession of the deceased souls that passed on. I use these two ways of gaining visions to see the past present and future.

Ceromancy:

Ceromancy is divination by means of dripping candle wax into cold water. The shapes the wax takes is then used to determine the outcome of your reading; similar to how one might do a reading with tarot cards.

My Method:

When I do ceromancy, I will roll the candle in my hands and focus on my question. I will then light the candle (I usually use a taper candle for this, but you can use whatever you have on hand) and drop the melted wax into a glass bowl/cup, filled with cold water. I usually do this between 6-8 times so that I have enough shapes/symbols to do an informed reading, but not so many that it is overwhelming.

I usually take several moments to look over my images. What are the shapes? What might they mean in regards to my situation? What impressions do I have when I look at them?

I make notes on any feelings or impressions I have about the images, and then look at the meanings and symbolism for the images. I feel this gives me a better idea/view of the overall message of the reading.

I have never heard about the way with the candles before. Sounds like something interesting I want to try.
Thanks for all the replies. I've heard many interesting ways already.
