Warding

Hi! I read that before and whilst astral projecting, you should protect and ward yourself. What would be advised? How to I protect myself in the astral realm and what would the best methods be to prevent myself from coming to any spiritual harm? Thanks.

Meditation before astral projecting so you can have a sound mind.
Having certain types of stones/crystals are good for protecting.

I like to do spiritual baths before sleep which cleanses your energy. Also wearing a pentacle could help ward some of the dangers of astral projection.

If you go to another realm that is not your own, you are subjected to the dangers around you. If your spiritual body gets hurt badly enough, it will hurt your physical body. It's happened, don't know how, but it does.

It's also a very seductive place. You run the risk of never wanting to leave, and so it is of the upmost importance you remember you are in a dream/trance state.

It can be as intense as your imagination permits, so emotionally it can be a roller coaster. So basic rules:

1. Anchor, please dear god anchor. Have something to connect you to the physical realm to avoid getting lost or sucked down the rabbit hole.

2. Protect yourself with gods, angels, spirits, etc.

3. WAKE UP IF YOU FEEL THREATENED!

4. Stay in your OWN realm until you feel comfortable moving to others and exploring.

I've posted in a few other AP forums and I have more complete posts there. I've just posted it so many times I've just summarized it into this
