Regretting a spell

Have you ever regretted casting a love spell? And if so,how? I really want to cast this love spell on a guy I like but I will feel bad for the fact that he likes me because of the spell and not because of who I am. Can you give your opinion on such topic please?

I have never regretted a spell, because each spell I do I am 100% certain that I want the outcome if it does manifest.

Honestly, I work on the principle that no one should take ritual work/spells/magickal practices lightly, and that each one should be taken seriously and should be thought about considerably before you undertake it. To go through the morals of the outcome and decide within yourself if you are truly happy with the potential outcome, and if you aren't or are unsure, then don't undertake the working.

You pretty much answered your own question. You know you will regret the spell if you do it. Never superimpose your will over another. Put yourself in that persons place and think about how you would react if someone did that to you. Either be upfront with him or wait to see if you are ment to be together.

I've never cast a love spell so I don't have specific love spell examples, but the first spell I felt bad about casting was I hexed someone [don't at me, my path] I'll admit it was a petty reason, but I was mad for 2 days until I went 'whatever! I'm hexing the person!' And I felt so much better, it was a release and things went back to normal. A couple days later the person was acting strange so I asked my coworker what was up and they didn't know only for my boss to inform us the person had been pulled over and charged with speeding as well as driving uninsured. I laughed, and then realized it happened the day I hexed them. Oops. I felt bad for a little bit, but then accepted what I did and moved on. Whatever may happen good or bad to me, I chose to cast. [and nothing really bad did happen] usually I think through my spells and don't try casting based on emotion, but this time I did, while I knew there was a chance I would later regret it, I concluded it was better than how I felt [note, this wasn't a one bad day thing, I had months of issues leading up to that day]

Regarding love spells on a crush, a spell won't make them blindly obey and follow you forever, but you have to accept the fact the reason they will ask you out is because of a spell [though if they had no feelings for you before the spell I doubt they would ask you out because there's little for the spell to work with] whether you cast or don't, try to build the relationship out of more than just this persons cute, and maybe likes one thing you like. Most crushes are infactuations based on a fantasy in our minds.

NEVER DO IT, trust me. Its happened to me before. Don't do it. Go speak to the person instead and if they don't fall for you. It was never meant to be.

I have only cast honey jar spells that are the closest to love spells, but not making someone fall head over heels for me honey jars are tosweeten someone towards you. I could almost guarantee the guilt that would come over me if I did, knowing that the person only loved me over a spell. There were things going on in relationships that were tough that I may have cast a spell to make it easier but again, I would not be casting a spell forcing free will. I believe that love spells are the most debatable topic on this site. I do not believe it is something like: X doesn't ever talk to Y they are only acquaintances, X casts a spell to make Y fall in love with them. That is likely one of the reasons why many people come to this site because they think it works like that. I believe that a spell can nudge the two together, but only if they are well-known friends already and there is already attraction there. It seems the only spell you would need is a confidence spell to go up and talk to him and build up a relationship.

Great discussion!

Personally I leave all forms of magick out of my love life. In the past I have always been obsessed with relationships, was very needy, and did everything to keep a relationship. You could say I was a bit crazy in that regard, or maybe just insecure. Instead of casting spells I decided to work on my insecurities and investing in a mutual romantic relationship with someone who had similar goals to me.

I think doing spells to attract a new partner, or a spell to elevate your own attractiveness is okay. However if it is not in your heart, or you have doubts, then maybe a love spell is not what you need now. I guess something to question is why do you think you need to cast a spell? Or why you want to.

Again this is a great topic to think about. I think it's best to find someone who wants to be with you on his or her own. It's so much more natural. Someone is out there who will love you very much.
