Seeking my path

I have been a studying pagan for 20 years now. For a long time I felt Wicca was my calling. As I have gotten older however I realize that I want magick woven throughout my day, I don't feel the need for lengthy rituals for simple magick. I want to create magick with my art, my crafts and my life. I feel like terms like hedge witch, druid, kitchen witch and green witch fit me closer then "Wiccan" does. I was curious about covens on this site and resources that more knowledgeable community members may have to help direct me onto a path I can finally feel at home on. Thank you in advance!

Others may disagree with this but I personally believe that a person cannot just choose a path. There has to be something more to a spiritual connection than “I think I want to be a xxx today”. Some of us are born into a faith as part of our heritage, others convert because they are dissatisfied with their connection to a faith because it doesn’t fulfill them. The analogy is quite simple. Choose the path that speaks to you, fulfills you and fits well with your morals, ethics and the way you live.

Another important aspect is does your faith represent you? Do you believe in it to the point that it is a source of personal pride. If asked, can you proudly answer “Yes, I am a xxx and I feel deeply connected to my faith”. If this cannot be done. perhaps the path you have chosen will not work well for you.

As for having magick as a part of your daily life, it is either there or it is not. Rituals, altars, incantations and the like are secondary to belief that magick exists.

You are right about this, you will need to unleashed the beast in you, to know what you are capable of, I know of someone who can help you unleash what ever you want to become and you need to do is to believe

What do you mean by " whatever you want to become ",Thespirit18 ?

Regarding your situation, Firaleen, we sometimes all feel disconnected. People that have been studying their paths for decades sometimes feel disconnected, and like there's just no more miles to run. It is normal to feel that way. You can change your paths, as long as you're not jumping from one to another.

I do agree with what was stated above, choose a path that calls to you. Take your time, they won't run away.
