Trying to find myself

I know vaguely who I am, but want to know my whole self, and experience spirituality and magic to its fullest. Any suggestions on where to start? I am at a loss. TIA

The beginning? Meditation. It helps refine focus and concentration, and helps to quiet extraneous thoughts.

There are many techniques to get to know one's self, related to magic. Some of them are more elaborate -- such as shadow work, Jung's Active Imagination, dream analysis, and more. Some are less elaborate -- such as playing a role outside of your normal personality, comparing your own behaviors and reactions to those of others, and similar.

In some traditions, the goal is to learn one's "true will," a term which can stand in to over-simplify the concept for many different traditions. Basically, whether work is done 'internally,' as in introspection to explore the deeper self, or 'externally,' affecting the outside world, personal gains and the like, and used as a reflection of the self, it does not matter. Both can be used to "meet" your true inner self, behind the mask you wear to others, and the one you wear to yourself.

I wish you luck! There are a lot of people here from various backgrounds and traditions who can advise from their own individual perspectives.

Thank you, I have been mediating alot and have found it very helpful. It has helped me get this far. However I feel like I am now at a road block. I have started investing more into crystal work and being assisted by Reiki masters to help cleanse myself. Yet I still don't know deeply who I am in my soul if that make any sense. I feel like at this moment in my life I need to know who I am, I am enlightened but feel I have farther to go with it. I am lost.

Thank you for your reply :)

Getting to know yourself takes time. For many, it is a lifelong pursuit, and an adventure the entire way. Having some Reiki sessions may be a help along the way, but it is not the be-all and end-all, nor a quick answer.

Yes: Many people feel like they should know themselves by some certain point in their lives, but what many find is that they do not, and are constantly getting to know themselves as they change throughout their life.

Quite simply you need to invite the Goddess into your heart, and allow her energy to flow into your body, and commune with her through meditation. What is she telling you about yourself, your relationships, and the world? A path takes a long time to find, as there are connections, clues and research to be done before you find it. It took me thirty odd years to find mine, after I was called to Glastonbury, Somerset U.K, and I found the Classical Labyrinth on the Tor a 518 foot hill.

It might be part of your cultural heritage, or even the ancient culture of the land you live in. It has to move you.

I don’t think you are lost at all. You are on a journey. That’s what living is all about as others have said above. Those that have decided that they are at the end of their search and have nothing left to look for are far more lost.

You already started the journey to know your whole self before you even asked that question to begin with, and this website is a perfectexample of just that. Knowledge is power, and the power to access seemingly limitless information at the disposal of your fingertips is a spiritual experience in itself in my personal opinion.
