Ever sense I started using a pendelum(about 4 months ago) I have been able to move things like my window shades string I cant make it move without and touching it and one of my friends was using a pendulum and was asking ignorant questions so i told the pendelumto move to the opposite answers they began to give and it worked with me even touching and I'll find myself trying to move things that are dangling or things that people are holding in there hands and it only works sometimes , because I can just tell if I will be able to move it or not but idk I'm confused on what this is and if its all in my head which I think it's not but just wanted to get other people's feedback
This is an experimenta teacherhad us do in class. You hold the pendulum in your hand and tell it to move side to side, and it does. Then you tell it to move back and forth, and it does. You can tell it to move circularly, and it does, then tell it to stop and move the other way, and it does. The thing is, while you may not feel your hand moving it, that is exactly what it is doing, just so slightly that you cannot feel yourself doing it.
The real test would be to see if you can do all these things on command while you are not holding it, but that is called telekinesis and is mostly believed to be impossible.
But that's the idea behind pendulums. They are used for many forms of divination, but it is based on the purest part of your instinct and intuition.
A lot of people tell you to look within and listen to your gut, but when you focus too hard on it, it becomes difficult to hear. Pendulums are a way for that part of you to manipulate something in your surroundings and show you exactly what it is feeling without you having to focus too hard on it.
People have often used them to locate water and other natural resources, predict the genders of babies, find lost things, and many other forms of divination because it focuses on that arbitrary feeling that is so hard to locate and identify on your own. Many people also use dowsing rods or forked sticks. Some even simply use their own hands or arms, but it all depends on what feels most comfortable to you.
