Hello and blessings everyone, recently I've been working with archetype magic and the tarot, and I would like to see if anyone would be able to help me with a part I'm stuck on. If you could either comment or pm me that would be great thank you all. Blessings and Merry Meet )O(

Well, I've been working with archetypes and tarot along with shamanism and a few other branches of magic and I've noticed that whenever I read books and or play games or even watch movies that, first of all, whenever I break my attention from that source then later on something from said source appears in my life in someway shape or form, and the number of times and the signs and symbols that have appeared have just been to put together for it just to be nothing, and I have had a feeling like there might be an invisible hand behind all of it trying to reach out to me for something. So, the first thing I did was to conjure up and use all of my protective magics just in case this thing is negative, however, after wards it still remains here so, I was curious if might be an archetype trying to communicate with me, does any of this make sense? And what are your thoughts on it?

An archetype is not an entity; it is an idea expressed as a symbol. Archetypes represent qualities. Some deities, spirits, or other entities, may express themselves through the use of archetypes, but are not, themselves, archetypes.

If you believe that noticing these symbols means that some entity is reaching out to you, that is for you to decide. To me, it sounds quite possible you are experiencingBaader-Meinhof Phenomenon. These ideas are fresh in your mind, so things with similarities are sticking out to you, as you are currently much more likely to notice them.

Okay thank you, out of curiosity, is it possible that more than one entity in a similar field might be trying to reach out to me, for example Lady Morrighan(Celtic), Athena (Greek), Iris (Egyptian) all deities of magic, and the moon?

Hey Matthew, I would like to propose a sort of middle ground. Consider that the form and name given to these archetypal energies have transformed as civilizations has risen and fallen. One such example would be the immense amount of similarities between the Triple Goddess of the Wiccans, and the Egyptian goddess Hekate (and Greek iteration Hecate), all of whom are the goddess of magic, witchcraft, etc. within said culture. It sounds as if the collective unconscious (the archetype) might be trying to tell you something, and chooses to appear in the form of whatever culture you are looking into at that time.

Oh wow, I actually never thought about it that way thank you, and out of curiosity, would it be wise to maybe cast a circle and invite each to my circle? and if yes, out of curiosity, is anyone familiar with the circles of old, like the ones with the symbols circling it?
