Hexing question
By:

So the other day, while I was walking back from class, these two mean people made lots of rude comments about me and my body. They made me feel really upset, so I was thinking of doing a small hex jar, nothing to catastrophic, just a 'you messed with the wrong witch' spell. However, I don't know their names or have any other connecction to them. Would just writing down 'people who made bad comments about me on the 20th of october' be enough?

Thank you :D

Ok I don't know much about hexes and curses but I believe you would need something to represent them at least. If not just make sure you have an item that reminds you of them and make sure those people are in your mind when doing it and perhaps draw a picture of what they looked like.

Hexes are pretty much like any other spell. The reason a lot of spells ask for names or pictures or symbols is just to increase your focus. But if you know have a clear picture in your mind of them and you can visualize them and what you want to happen (even if it's just bad luck) that should do it when you focus that energy and send it into the universe.

Since you have no intention of doing anything too horrible, the effects of the negative energy required to cast this should be minimal, but you still might want to try a cleansing afterward, if not for the energy used in casting, then for the emotion you have over what they said to you. A hex might be satisfying, but it may not really help you to move past it and hold your head high and shake it off the way that a cleansing would. But that's just personal advice.

On a side note, curses are a bit more intense as they are more severe and generally longer lasting, so they take a lot more energy. The negative energy required to execute them is much greater and can create much more intense side effects or backlash. Creating that much anger and hatred inside oneself to fuel something really takes a toll, but that doesn't even account for things like karma (if you believe in it) or the effects of that negativity around oneself.. But like I said, since this is just a little hex, I wouldn't worry.
