Hello, guys:

There are a lot of spells where you have to create spelled items and carry them along or leave them in the house, like satchels, rings, coins, amulets, etc. For how much time?
Let's say the spell has a positive effect, what should I do with those items?

And if it doesn't have effect..how much time after the spell can I throw them?

I usually carry mine until either the next full moon - and charge them again in that time -, until I feel like they are starting to fade away or when they have done their purpose. If they have done what I wanted them to, there's no need in keeping them.

If we're talking about rings, amulets, or anything that can't be destroyed with fire, just let them discharge. I usually put some in a cup filled with salt and water ( make sure it won't damage anything ), to renovate the energies. If it's something like herbs, sachets, then I burn them or burry them.

In any case, you should follow your intuition with these things. If it feels right let it stay, if not then let it go.

You can carry them until the desire manifests, or it is for something ongoing, then keep them.
A way I personally discard items is by burning or burying them.

true and only way to dispose of magical item is to throw it down the running water, or if you burn it, do same with ashes... and well, about magic items, it depends on their purpose, and how they are made... some hamailias and talismans 'last' forever
