Satanism

That's a really great explanation, in a short easy way to understand. I'm a Satanist and for more in the first category, but always find it hard to explain to others. There's never one category a person fits into, in my opinion. There is always something that doesn't quite fit, or you like things from other religions.

I've studied different flavors of Satanism depends on their belief system and see Satan as with yourself or an actual being outside of the self.LaVeyan, Theistic/SpiritualLuciferianism, Anti-Cosmic Tradition, Order of the Nine Angles,and their is another tradition where you mix Lord and Lady Death into Satanism.

As a chaoteI see Satan like I see his twin Yahweh or whichever names they go by. Also symbolism of anti-creation and one of the gatekeepers of the abyss.

Agreed, Joy of Satan is a site that is full of misinformation, it is likely to confuse more than assist.

Which type of Satanism are you interested in?

I've studied some Satanism and quite a bit on Demons. Demons were once Gods in ancient civilizations and to various cultures before the Abrahamic faiths came into the picture and they were Demonized. A good example would be Astaroth who was known as Astarte and Inanna in different regions.

It is important to know that Satanism is not a religion of evil. It is a religion of spiritual growth and personal power.
