Ever since I was 15 a angel of light who said i had many names has been protecting me
He calls himself lilial jakiel and sometimes Ariel
Does anyone have any info
He can take anyform and has the power to possess through the lungs and chest
Is he really a angel?
It could be an Angel. Of course there are a few questions you can ask yourself, since most spirits can take almost any form they wish,
- Where does he appear? Does he seem different around "holy", or perhaps "unholy", ground?
- Has he tried teaching you to do various techniques, like energy manipulation, and were these teachings malicious or benevolent?
- What feelings does he invoke in you? Think deep on this since a "good feeling" doesn't guarantee a "good" spirit; try describing the feeling more as an action, does his presence make you want to help others?
Sadly, I don't have enough formal knowledge on the subject of Angels to detail a method of identifying them from imposters.
Although, personally, I am more interested in what this "Angel" has told you. Such information is often valuable to "you", and perhaps anyone seeking to use you.
He sometimes he takes the form of a satyr with purple fur and cat paws and a large cat head with a longtail
And in this form I feel lustful and malignate intent
When he takes the form of a tall satyr like creator with no fur and gray skin with thin long black hair I feel fear
He has been teaching me my magic and abilities
He sometimes torments me when I feel a demonic presence other than his divine presence
He says this is to distract me from exploring my curiosity
He also stops my practice of magic and only lets me cast spells to invoke other angels and my abilities he has taught me
Hmm.... perhaps the quickest way to tell is to try calling on some "Higher Power". If he is an angel than he should be fine with you "praying" to "God" about him. Or try summoning an angel such as Micheal ...
Angels should invoke feelings of joy and light... and should rarely tolerate any demonic presence. I doubt it is an Angel (At least one who has not Fallen) if they are invoking feelings like lust or seek to restrain your magical practices to "summoning other angels", also him wanting you to only use magic to summon other "Angels" seems like a major red flag.
The name Ariel is the feminine counterpart of my guarding angels name. It means lion of god. As has been mentioned before, if this being is indeed an angel he will have pure intentions. But causing you fear and lust does not sound pure... Nor does possessing your lungs as breath is life and sacred.
