Moon Stones

I have a question about a couple of rumors I've heard. Is it true that having a moon stone in your possession can enhance the effect of Dream Catchers? I've also been told that it can allow you to control them, with the use of certain spells, but I've never been able to confirm or deny these statements.

I would imagine that meditating with a moonstone may help prevent nightmares because it does have calming, healing, and protective properties. I'm not sure about the dream-catcher exactly, seeing as I've never used one, but I don't see why not. If you believe in it, I'm sure it would help.

As far as controlling "them", I'm not entirely sure what you mean by that. Do you mean controlling the dream-catchers? I don't really understand how one could do that unless you mean deciding which nightmares would "filter through" so to speak, but I don't think that's really an option because nightmares are just dreams and it's all part of the way that your subconscious handles the events that happen during your consciousness.

As I said, mediating with a moonstone may help to prevent nightmares, but if there is something that makes you uncomfortableand your subconscious really has to deal with it, you may have a nightmare about it anyway. The meditation along with the moonstone may help you feel more calm and safe, especially if you do so before sleep, so your subconscious may deal with whatever makes you uncomfortable in a calmer way, but it does still have limits.

I recommendlooking up the meanings and traits of moonstones and other gems. There are a few very good articles on this site about it. Best of luck to you

See, that was what was confused me. I didn't understand what people meant by "controlling the dreamcatcher" because that's not how they work, from what I know. I thought it would be safest to ask.

But thank you for your advice and recommendations, I'll be sure to look into it. :)
