Image of my ancestors

Recently I've started a family tree and I was wondering if there was a way, maybe by scrying into the past, in which it is possible to see and take a picture of the faces of my ancestors. I don't wish to contact them just see them.

Taking a picture I do not believe would be possible. However you could try to enter a meditative state and basically try to call on them. If you manage to and your able to remember the details, you could paint the portrait if you have the skill to

Unfortunately we are unable to capture a physical picture of what we see in our mind's eye during scrying. You're able to see these images simply because you are opening yourself up to them. But you can most definitely see them through meditation or perhaps even your dreams if you open yourself up to them and if they even want to be seen.
