Help please!

welcome, my first question is what interests you? did you hear you can cast spells and didn't look any further, or did you read an article explaining what witchcraft is and decided it was the path for you? there's many places to start, but knowing what drew you to the craft can help us figure out where to begin. as prsona mentioned reading the articles in the general information section can give you a few tips. meditation is also a good thing to learn about. [note, there's many ways to meditate, so don't assume you need to shut your brain off for hours in order to meditate]

if you have a list of questions, or a few things that interest you, i might be able to help a bit more, so this is just some general broad stuff:

1. magick is a neutral energy found in nature. it works with nature to bring a desired change into your life [if it cannot naturally happen like grow wings, a spell will not be able to do this] they do not contradict nature, and is nothing like in movies.

2. magick is not 'black' and 'white', it is a neutral force, and the caster gives it a positive or negative charge depending on the spell.

3. not all pagans/witches/wiccans cast spells. it is a small part of a spiritual path. you do not have to convert to a specific religion to cast spells.

where i would start is by picking up a beginners guide and reading it, but without knowing much about what interests you it can get a little tricky. A Witches Bible by Janet and Stuart Farrar might be the best one to start with unless you have a specific path in mind.
