Not all of them are "extremely strong", it depends what you clarify as strong and also, in what ways. Just like human spirits, Demons can use dark magick yes and any type of Magick.

Demons are and aren't really strong. They're strong in magick, and strong in manipulation, but weak in compassion and love.They use all types of magick to try and lure in people

Demons are stronger than man and less than gods demons have no power but possession. what i think your thinking of are witches or sorcerers that worship and aline with Satan.
