Sea glass

What dose this mean to you? How y'all use this in your practice? Dose the different sea glass colors have meaning? Is there a difference between sea glass and beach glass? Beach glass is from fresh water.

I personally see all sea glass as being sea glass regardless of colour, after all, it is all the same thing with different colourant in it, however I have known people who use colour correspondence with sea glass like I would with candles, which I find a very interesting idea.

Personally, when I worked more with the sea, I would use it as a representation for the ocean in spells, rituals and even spell pouches, especially since I didn't live by the sea at the time. They gave some variety to my practice rather than using sea shells constantly (which gets a little tiresome). In the past I have also used it to represent the water element, especially since they have been weathered by the sea.

Although very personal I see sea glass and beach glass as the same thing, considering beach glass has been weathered by the ocean, but weathered glass found in rivers may be more closely connected to the river, although this is all personal belief, some people just see sea glass as plain old glass.
