First off, welcome to the site.

My path is eclectic. It's still developing, honestly. It's a bit more spiritual than religious, I suppose; I practice magick and believe in many types of spirits, but I don't worship any deities. (I'm a bit of a Nihilist, to be perfectly honest.) I have considered deity worship, but in the three years I've been thinking about it, I still haven't found a deity who really seems right. Perhaps one day, but for now, I'm content with my practice as it is. I'm very interested in a wide variety of paths, so I read about many and incorporate some into my practice.

I discovered it slowly. In sixth grade, I became extremely interested in mythology, and began reading about it extensively. I kept a notebook on my studies. In eighth grade, I met a girl who practiced Wicca. She let me borrow some books on her path, and after reading them, I started searching the Internet for all things magickal and Neopagan. After a while, my practice started to fall into place.

I keep on my path because it feels right. Though it is still developing, I feel that I will discover exactly the right sort of practice for me.

A Lokean tends to be a Heathen who's primary focus is on Loki (similar to having Loki as a patron deity of sorts). I wrote a post about it here:http://www.spellsofmagic.com/read_post.html?post=460325

Great to see people sharing their ideas and beliefs with each other.

I'm Tiredofgaggs (or, just Gaggs). I'm practice ceremonial magic, alchemy and study the Western Mystery Traditions. I was always interested in magic and started doing energy work in my teen years, along with Vippisana meditation and Silva Method. When I was 18, I discovered the Golden Dawn and qabbalah. I was immediately hooked and, although it would be another three years before I was actually initiated into the G.D., I studied all of the literature that I could find. Around age 22 I started studying martial arts, which included energy work, meditation and healing. Six years after that I was teaching classes. I continued to train in the G.D. and in my martial arts constantly adding and learning more. I also sought out initiation into Wicca and other traditions, but my main focus has always been in the G.D. In 2002, I became a Reiki instructor and began teaching healing arts as well. I still continue to study and grow, seeking out new knowledge that is worthwhile. After 27 years in the G.D., I am chief adept of our local temple. Still, there is much to learn.

I think what drew me to this path was that it was not just about casting a spell to get some result, but it was about spiritual growth and development. It focused on becoming more in contact with the divine in what ever form(s) you see it and becoming more aware of what out place is in the scheme of things and how we can work within that frmework to achieve results. While there are practical magical teachings, they are secondary. The spiritual growth is primary because that is what gives us more access to higher levels, more energy and higher potential. I keep following because it never ends. There are always deeper levels to explore, more knowledge and insight to gain and higher goals to strive for.

Hello there Nokti, I'm cosmiclynx.

Hope I'm not to late to the party!

"Which path or paths you follow and why?"
I blaze my own trails, being a solitary witch. My focus is (surprise) cosmic witchery, although I am a pop-culture enthusiast, as well as an urban and techno witch practioner. Astral travel, spirit work and a growing emphasis on death seems to be my main "staples" if you will.

"What got you started in those paths?"
I love space and while I like tradition, I never was one for following it. I admire the concept, but I am by nature a seeker of new paths. I fell down the rabbit hole and combined my loves with witchcraft and here we are.

Why do you choose to keep following your set path?
Because it feels like home.

Do you have any stories to share about your practice?
Nothing that many would find interesting or would make sense-most are highly personal. However I mentioned above that I am an avid pop-culture pagan. My main "spirit" I suppose you could call him, that I work with is none other than Solas. My practice is very Dragon Age based but I do throw in Mass Effect and Lord of the Rings at times.
