One of my mice somehow managed to escape from its cage (I managed to catch it) but there's absolutely no way it could have gotten out. All of the pieces are securely in place, the door is closed, the wires are all in place and there are no holes, yet it somehow managed to get out.
I am legitimately positive that the ghost here let it out because there's no other way. The ghost also does other things like say our names in the middle of the night and steal our food and drinks. I'm going to try to have a conversation with it and ask it nicely not to eat our food or let my pets out. Whether it listens to me or not is anyone's guess.
Does anyone know anything that can help me with this situation?
I only moved into this house a bit over two months ago. The ghost hasn't been unfriendly or violent, just disrespectful and an inconvenience.

With that out of the way, how do you know it's a ghost? I mean, it could be, but it could be something else.
If it is a ghost, though, I would suggest contacting someone who does psychopomp work. I am one such person. A priest that does deliverance is another, as are plenty of other shamans out there. In fact, I'm pretty sure you can contact a psychopomp spirit and have them guide the ghost into the afterlife.
Most humans are seldom strong enough to do things like open doors, which is why I'm pointing out that it could be something other than a human entity. Then again, some humans are that strong. Think of the Black Monk of Pontefract...
Do you have anyone living in the same house as you? Spirits have a very difficult time concentrating energy into one point, which means that it would be very hard for them to move something. Let alone open a cage. But they can very well hide things from you.
Secondly, there is no way that spirits can "eat food" or "steal drinks". Because they are on another plain as us, they cannot take away something physical. Just like energy cannot be created nor be destroyed, a physical thing cannot disappear from its own plain to another one.
Now that being said, if you're currently living with someone, they could have very well done all of the things that you're accusing a spirit of doing.
